These sound clips were recorded in a home studio by my friend Carlos, with a Zoom H2 portable digital recorder, using its built-in stereo mics. Editing was done in Audacity, with no enhancements to the original sound. We made every effort to preserve the original sound of the guitars. The mp3 files are smaller and require less download time for those with slower internet connection, but suffer a slight loss in audio accuracy. The wav files are larger and take longer to download, but provide more accurate reproduction. Both guitars have east Indian rosewood backs and sides and Sitka spruce tops. The OM has standard bracing; the dreadnought has scalloped bracing. For accurate results, quality speakers or headphones should be used.
