SE114 EIR/Lutz spruce
This guitar is based on the Torres SE114, with a spruce top; back and sides are East Indian rosewood, with an ebony fretboard. The neck widths are 51mm and 61mm at the nut and 12th fret respectively; scale is 650mm. Finish will be shellac applied by French polish. Guitars I've built along these lines have been called responsive and lyrical, owing to the light construction that is possible with a smaller body. It might be considered small by today's standards, but it doesn't lack for volume and projection. Click on a thumbnail to enlarge it.
