Here at Pat Foster Guitars, I build custom acoustic steel string guitars in my one-man shop in Spokane, Washington. I take great pride in the tone, workmanship and ease of playing that my work is known for.
One of my goals is that, when a guitar is completed, it speaks in some way to the person holding or playing it. Some would call it having “soul” or “mojo.” For me, it means a success above and beyond the more physical realms of playability, beauty and tone.

In the design and construction of the guitars I build, art, engineering, and science come together. My engineering background ensures lasting structural integrity, while art and science play their parts in bringing out the beauty and tonal potential of the fine woods I use.
